Ideas from The Last Waltz sculptures have wandered into a new direction. Table lamps combined with the landscape paintings. Assembled with different components and colours ensures no two will ever be exactly the same.
The first 4 are being exhibited at The Big Design Market in Melbourne 7-9 December

Just having fun with The Waltz.
Three sculptures inspired by a cafe. The type of project where its easy to play around, have some fun and see what happens.

Part of a collaborative open arts project between Corban Estate Arts Centre and Westfield WestCity.
The brief was create an artwork themed to a participating Westfield WestCity business.......more

and make it big. You maybe vilified, sued, mocked, ridiculed but also maybe praised, admired and inspire

Kohia Art Show

Kohia is a small Epsom school which has exhibited some prominent names in the art world including, Billy Apple, Karl Maughan, Richard Killeen, Sheyne Tuffery, Jeff Thomson,  Paul Hartigan and Russell Jackson. Making for a compelling show both for the art and the high level of sales.
This year Chan Andreassend will be exhibiting all new work including sphere lights, resin icon paintings, Work Tools & The Last Waltz sculptures including two of the 700mm versions. All still in production.
Which is why The 4th in the Engelbert Strategy Series is still a few days away. About Ten in total with a climatic three song finale.

Now in its 8th year The Kohia art show is the school's largest annual fundraiser and this year it will go towards additional teaching resources and a new classroom.  8-10 June  Gala opening on Friday $40/ticket www.kohiaart.co.nz

New Last Waltz

The next stage in the Waltz series, doubling in size to 700mm. Its a good size to have fun with detailing and ideas.
Still finishing 3 ceramic lights but 22 resin sculptures, paintings and lights are ready to go!  All for the  Baradene Art Show . Now in its 23rd year, this event showcases over 600 pieces of work from over 100 contemporary NZ artists including emerging and established artists. Gala opening 18 May in Remuera, Auckland  6.30-9pm. tickets online.   
This is where Art means Business.
