Kohia is a small Epsom school which has exhibited some prominent names in the art world including, Billy Apple, Karl Maughan, Richard Killeen, Sheyne Tuffery, Jeff Thomson, Paul Hartigan and Russell Jackson. Making for a compelling show both for the art and the high level of sales. This year Chan Andreassend will be exhibiting all new work including sphere lights, resin icon paintings, Work Tools & The Last Waltz sculptures including two of the 700mm versions. All still in production. Which is why The 4th in the Engelbert Strategy Series is still a few days away. About Ten in total with a climatic three song finale. The next stage in the Waltz series, doubling in size to 700mm. Its a good size to have fun with detailing and ideas. Still finishing 3 ceramic lights but 22 resin sculptures, paintings and lights are ready to go! All for the Baradene Art Show . Now in its 23rd year, this event showcases over 600 pieces of work from over 100 contemporary NZ artists including emerging and established artists.
