The creative Industry apart from a few sectors earn less than people receive on the benefit, our work is used to enrich peoples lives more than any other, we donate work based on % more than any other sector, yet some of our Politicians and most of NZ do nothing to protect out intellectual property and some actively participate in the the theft of it. Any politician visting Kim Dotcom condones the pirating of Creatives Works. Does any other industry have that hurdle? NZ Customs will stop pirated goods coming in here and then The Judiciary and lawyers have another payday.
You may hate John Key and dislike National Party policies, but considering we have been in a recession for 7 years, its been painful for most, but at least we are doing better than Europe.
Right now John Key is the only Politicial leader, even if by default protecting Creative Industries Intellectual Rights. Wonder if he knows it Always suspected the National Party loved the Arts!
